Dear Baeky
Dear Baeky,
Do you think my dog 'Hazel is telepathic ? Every day when I come home from work she gives me a little bark to welcome me home, even before I'm in range for her to hear my footsteps.
Tony.
I spoke to Hazel on this matter and she confirmed that she did indeed have telepathic powers (in common with the rest of the family). She apparently knows of your impending arrival for at least ten minutes. -
Dear Baeky,
About two years ago I wrote in to the Churnal to claim the jackpot on the Churnal’s lottery. I have not heard anything since, what's going on there ? I demand my rightful prize, and I want it now!!!!
A. W.Anchor
I think you're making it up, to my knowledge no one has claimed that particular prize ...... nice try though -
Dear Editor,
I would like to claim the jackpot on the Churnal’s lottery. I have all the numbers, am I the sole winner ?
Yours excitedly,
A. W.Anchor.
This letter seems to have been misrouted, I shall pass it on to the Editor for his attention. Sorry, it seems to have been at the bottom of my mail bag for a long time -
Dear Baeky,
I'm at my wits end, the dog next door barks incessantly, non stop the whole time its owner is out of the house. What can I do ?
Lottie.
Try earplugs, if you cannot get hold of any, little pieces of cotton wool would suffice, alternatively, pieces of soft bread or rice pudding could be used in an emergency. It is very important that you should not use crusty bread rolls -

Dear Baeky,
My memory keeps playing tricks on me. I can't seem to remember things that I've done only a few moments ago, although I have no problem with my long term memory. Also, I have a problem with my short term memory, and to cap it all, I can't seem to remember what my problem is. Please help me.
R. Sole.
Well your problem seems to stem from an inability to remember things. If you want to rectify this problem you will have to improve your memory, what was the problem again ? -
